Brooks Durham has been with Mincey-Carter since 2013. Brooks advises clients on matters involving estate planning and wealth preservation, including trusts, estates, wills, and the related income, estate, gift, and generation-skipping tax issues.  This includes developing innovative and tax-efficient estate planning techniques to transfer wealth in a manner consistent with the family goals and needs.  Through transparency and open communication, Brooks works to ensure each client understands and is comfortable with the process and the final product.

In addition, Brooks represents professionals and closely held businesses, guiding clients through all phases of organizational and business planning, including the development and negotiation of employee equity plans, employment agreements, merger and acquisition transactions, lending transactions, and business succession planning.  When advising clients on these issues, Brooks uses his background in business and finance to understand the client’s business and create creative solutions to address each unique situation.
