We have adopted certain "core principles" that govern our client relationships and our firm's business plan.

View Each Client as Unique

Our experience is that each client and his or her situation is unique requiring a tailored solution. Therefore, we seek first to listen and understand our client's situation, needs and goals. Only then can we bring to bear our knowledge and experience to provide the ideas, advice and work product to achieve the best possible solution.

Be a Value-Added Advisor

In all of our engagements, we consistently seek to add value to our client's decision-making process, plan, and the transaction itself. This means we ask questions, review existing documents and information and confirm with the client his or her goals and our observations and recommendations. This process promotes creativity and often allows us to help our client identify better solutions. In many cases, this process will involve: (i) advising on the "pros" and "cons" of alternative strategies to achieve the desired goals; (ii) applying "next-step" case management to keep clients aware of the work and objectives accomplished to a particular point in time, and the "next steps" necessary to further their goals; and (iii) providing our recommendations, when needed, of other advisors and resources (e.g., appraisers, other legal specialities, insurance and financial advisors) to assist us in pursuing the client's goals.

Focus on Service

Our goal is to provide prompt, courteous service in a "user-friendly" manner.  Our firm structure, consisting of attorneys working individually or in small, effective work teams with other attorneys or related paralegal and support persons, has been designed to serve our target client base in the most effective ways. We strive constantly to improve how we organize and communicate our ideas, share our experiences, and utilize our knowledge and creativity for the benefit of our clients. By pursuing our service goal consistently, we have found that we succeed in building long-term relationships with our clients; and our clients and their other advisors become our best sources for referrals. Our service responsibility also means that where possible, we provide and update as needed fee estimates for the work to be performed and deal promptly with any billing questions.

Concentrate Our Resources

In designing and building our firm, we recognized that our key resources are our people, our knowledge and our experiences. We also recognized that strength does not lie in numbers, but in the quality and real value of our services to our clients. Therefore, we have adopted certain important business principles to govern our firm internally, including: (i) create and maintain a comfortable, working environment; (ii) seek constantly to increase our knowledge and maintain a superior level of training for our staff; (iii) spend capital as needed to maintain sophisticated technology applications to enhance our communications and services to clients; (iv) share our knowledge and experiences internally and by participating in continuing legal education programs, speaking engagements, and direct interaction with other professionals and our clients; and (v) monitor our firm structure, in terms of our lawyers, paralegals, and other staff members, our knowledge base, and our technology applications to assure that we are the "right-size" and properly equipped to meet the needs of our clients.

Based on our vision and the foregoing principles, we have enjoyed developing wonderful, long term relationships with many of our clients and their advisors. We are proud of our past and very excited about our future. We look forward to working with you.
